Register and stay in Live Learning to prepare. Your classroom connects when the trainer starts, with your camera and microphone off.
Register. Prepare. Learn.
Open your invitation
Sign in with the account used for your Academy enrolment. Open Live Learning and find your lesson in the register.
Register 30 minutes before
Select Confirm attendance and prepare when the register opens. Your place is confirmed on screen. Registration closes 15 minutes after the scheduled start, or when the class is full.
Settle in
Keep Live Learning open in the foreground. Prepare your notes, find a quiet place and check your connection. You will see a waiting message until your trainer opens the classroom.
Join automatically
The classroom connects when your trainer starts: at the scheduled time, or earlier using Start lesson now. Keep Live Learning open after confirming attendance. Your camera and microphone stay off until you choose to use them. If your device asks you to tap to hear the lesson, follow its on-screen prompt.
Make room for the lesson
Select Full screen for a larger view. Open chat when you need it, then close it to return to the presentation. Use Leave lesson whenever you need to step away.

Open Trainer Studio
Use your approved trainer account. Your trainer workspace is separate from the learner classroom.
Enrol your learners
Search your Live Desk and previous learners by name or email, tick the learners you want, or choose Select all shown. You can also paste new emails in bulk. Then add a title, start time and duration. Select Enrol and invite selected learners. Class size follows the unique emails in your list. Only selected accounts with active Academy access receive invitations.
Prepare for your learners
Have your teaching material ready before registration opens, 30 minutes early. Watch the private preparation register to see who is waiting. Once a learner confirms, select Open Studio preparation to check your camera and microphone privately. Preparation does not start the lesson clock or send media to learners. Only trainers and administrators see this list. Close private windows before sharing your screen.
Start and welcome the group
To begin early with confirmed learners, select Start lesson now and confirm. The full lesson duration begins immediately and registered learners can join. To wait for the planned time, select I am ready for scheduled start and keep Trainer Studio open in the foreground. At the scheduled time the video privacy check opens automatically, even if learners are still arriving. Complete the check and enable your microphone or camera when ready. Confirmed learners with Live Learning open connect automatically. If you leave or refresh before the lesson starts, confirm readiness again.
Present, then complete
Open Blackboard, Pencil or another teaching app on your computer. Select Share screen and choose that app’s window or browser tab. Your learners see the demonstration as you draw or explain. Use Full screen and open chat as needed. At the end, select Complete lesson and submit register to close the classroom and review attendance.
Presenting as an administrator
Open the management workspace, complete administrator verification and go to Live Learning control. For an active video lesson, select Join & share screen. Open the administrator presentation, then select Share screen and choose your teaching window. Use Stop sharing before returning to private work. The trainer keeps ownership of the lesson.
Need a hand?
No invitation? Check that you are signed in with the email on your active Academy enrolment. Ask your trainer to check the invitation list.
No video? If the scheduled time has arrived, ask the trainer to confirm readiness and check any video service error. The countdown alone cannot bypass a missing trainer or device permissions. If updates pause, select Refresh lessons. After leaving a room, select Reconnect to return.
On iPhone or iPad? Learners can watch the trainer’s video and shared screen with Live Learning open. In the My DPMINDS iPad app, trainers and verified administrators can choose Open iPad presentation studio when available at the device check. Select Share iPad screen, start Apple’s broadcast, then switch to Blackboard, Pencil or another teaching app. Enable the studio microphone to speak. Turn on Focus before sharing; your whole screen and notifications may be visible. Use Stop sharing or Apple’s broadcast control to finish.
Live captions may be used by the trainer. Captions are temporary and are not stored. Camera and microphone access remains your choice.
